Planning a wedding reception on a budget?

These fire proof lumimaries are an ideal idea for an inexpensive way to  define and create a dramatic entrance and a non verbal way to communicate where you might want your guests to walk.

I always use a can of anything to anchor them down, and rest a votive or t-lite on, as I am too lazy to deal with sand, which is what is commonly used.

I have also seen them used as centerpieces for rehearsal dinners, indoors as well as outdoors in place of flowers, which has a very dramatic effect.
